Definitions

Job Applicant refers to Jaspal Co., Ltd., and its subsidiary companies, including Jaspal and Sons Co., Ltd.

Data Subject refers to the individual who is the owner of personal data, in this case, the job applicant.

Personal Data refers to information related to an individual that allows for the identification of the job applicant, either directly or indirectly, but excluding information about beneficiaries. Personal data can include General Personal Data and Sensitive Personal Data.

General Personal Data includes information such as salutation, name, surname, address, date of birth, nationality, gender, age, photograph, email, phone number, national identification number, passport number, educational history, work history, training history, qualifications, military status, and information about personal references, such as parents, spouse, children, and other individuals specified by the job applicant. It also encompasses information about organizations where the job applicant has previously worked and educational institutions, among others, as provided on the job application form or accompanying documents.

Sensitive Personal Data includes information such as religion, history of criminal offenses, criminal records, court judgments, pending litigation, health information (prior to employment), disability information, biometric data, and other sensitive details specified in the job application or supporting documents (if applicable).

Collection, Use, and Disclosure of General Personal Data

The collection, use, and disclosure of job applicants’ General Personal Data as presented in job application forms and related documents are essential for the recruitment process conducted by Jaspal Co., Ltd. The data collected from job applicants, including information from personal references, previous employers, educational institutions, and other details provided by the job applicant, are gathered for the purpose of assessing qualifications, knowledge, and abilities necessary for potential employment. Furthermore, this information may be used as part of the employment contract to confirm the qualifications, knowledge, and abilities of the job applicant upon successful hiring. All processes adhere to legal requirements.

The collection, use, and disclosure of General Personal Data are deemed necessary for the performance of a contract or the preparation for entering into a contract, as stipulated in Article 24(3) of the Personal Data Protection Act.
