Job Summary: Responsible for overseeing accounting activities and financial reporting for the company’s overseas entities. This role involves coordinating with international accounting firms, tax consultants, and auditors to ensure compliance with local regulations. The position also focuses on conducting financial reviews, managing balance sheet reconciliations, and preparing IFRS conversions and audit schedules, while handling special assignments for designated countries.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with overseas accounting firms to manage month-end closing, ensuring compliance with country regulations in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with overseas tax consultants to prepare and submit tax filings in accordance with local regulations.
- Conduct analytical reviews of profit and loss statements and balance sheets to ensure financial accuracy.
- Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations, addressing open items and resolving any discrepancies.
- Compile audit-related schedules and documentation, and coordinate with auditors as needed.
- Participate in compliance audits and respond to audit queries effectively.
- Prepare IFRS conversions and submit reporting packages to the Group within the specified timelines.
- Handle special assignments for designated countries.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- At least 5 years of accounting experience.
- Work experience in financial accounting in an international environment or within an Audit firm.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, financial reporting, and analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Highly organized, with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
